Studying tree mortality of Nothofagus pumilio forests.

We aim at modelling forest tree mortality in natural forests in southern Chile.

Principal investigator for the project Disentangling the mortality-growth relationship: evidence from the southernmost forest of the world. Research grant FONDECYT (Chilean National Science Foundation) No. 1231458, carried out at Universidad Mayor, Santiago, Chile.
